"Life"
by Wesselyn Campbell
Life: Shattering in front of your eyes
Thinking that it cannot get any better
Listening to the voices inside of your head
Obeying every word and commandment
Until the day you cry.
Time: Crumbling like a cookie
Taking away every bit of space that you may have
Leaving you with the memories
Like the fire in the sky
Until you go crazy.
Memories: Building up inside
Making you feel that something is wrong
Thinking about the past and how it would have been
Concentrating on the faults that you have
Until you bury them deep inside
Pain: Something that makes you weak
The occurring situation that will never get better
The heartache that you feel when it happens
The feelings that are hid
Until someone gets it out of you
Friends: The people that help you find your way
Taking you to the zenith of the world
Teaching you how to express what you are thinking
Speaking with you and listening to you
Until they help you to get your lights shining.
Peace: Coming in like a dove
What you need to help you to survive
Giving you the perfect opportunity to sing
Thinking about the silence in your life
Until you cannot think anymore.
Courage: The hiding of fear
Thinking only about the good things
Making you feel happy
Allowing you not to think about your fears
Until it overtakes you.
