Pondering the verse

I've come to understand

of poetry and rhyme -

It may follow simple structure,

may keep a beat in time.

But mostly what I know of it,

is that I really don't -

It simply is,

no more

just that.

Now I

drawn up

with confidence

will follow up and say -

That glad or sad,

confused, amused

MY poetry is . . . . . . PLAY!
