Dear Peace of Mind,
Why do you leave me here with these ugly thoughts? Why do you leave me when you know you ought not? I know not where to find you as I go to and fro; this haunted isolation erodes at my soul. Do you laugh and mock my pain? What is in it for your gain? I think until I can no longer strain the simple act of being, but, you knowing this, lock me from within so there is no escape for me, from you there will be no freeing.You will bring havoc upon me without thinking twice - with the blink of an eye you'll roll me like dice. No one will know what you've said, no one will know what you've done - hey, I'll admit it; you're one tricky son of a gun. You work from the inside, not on the out, constantly reminding me not to slip and let show my pout. What will it take to end this charade? I am in desperate need for release from this barricade - so I write you this letter from far deep within, hoping to find you, hoping I'll win. If you get this, please respond - I'm the one you've left tortured and alone for so long.

Dear You.,
You poor tortured soul why is it that you cry? I know every thought that you think inside. You attempt to run, to flee, from me? I will find you where ever you go, where ever it is you can think to be. I am in your every side step and deep within your glance - you think you can escape me? I have you; I keep you, in my ever lasting trance. Accept your fate; let the water overcome, and this will be quite easy… you're right I am a "tricky son of a gun". If you fight, you know you will, you will lose no matter what you do, I control your every will - let me win, because you know I will, and I promise to ease the pain, that you are so obviously in. I will nurture and protect you from within my tender walls - can't you hear it? Destiny calls! Attempt no more contact with me and let it all just be, for there is no stopping this joyous "monstrosity".
