Vampire tracks
Krishna Isley
Wintertime winds are blowing in.
Scar tissue dreams lost dreams
Lost in the season of your midnight.
Are your eyes still haunted, whispering shadows?Your breath once ripe with copper dust and vodka
Bodies crashed in to the floor.
Counting hours by the salt on your skin
Aching from your silver kiss
Whose pillows tell there dreams to you now?Entangled in your moon kissed arms .
Endless prayers thrust against the darkness.
Sleep at last claimed my vigil and,
mutability slipped between the sheets.
An angel where the devil dwells
Do you leave their bed before dawn ascends?Tracing your tracks long faded Down these wrists,
Your shadow haunts these vacant walls.
Breathing in Stygian air.
Shadowed days count out the weeks .
Memories dance and hope disintegrates.
Entropy claiming all dreams
