I never meant to make you doubt or cry,
I’ll apologize a million times.
I truly hope that time will let it heal,

I wish I could have been there for you.
During those moments when you felt so alone,
Tearfully staring at your phone.
Life has a cruel way of teaching us
lessons,
Of how I fell from your blessings.
Oh how I wish I could go back in time for a while,
Just so I can for once see your smile.
Of all those nasty words you said to me,
There is one that I’d have to disagree.
I was an ass; I was such a dick,
I know I did things that truly made you sick.
But to say that I never really cared,
And that nothing I say could ever repair.
But you see there is something I can do everyday,
