Caesar Smile
By Joshua Boyce

That day you laughed, I remember it most
Like the first well-wishing, or a wedding toast
It was pleasantly a pleasant surprise
Everytime that look was caught in your eye.

I captured it, it became my new treasure
Striving just to hear you laugh out of pleasure
You knew me well, knew me better than all
And I knew you too for I had climbed your walls

Caesar, smile! It's Brutus and Friends!
We've come for a surprise, a surprise till the end!

Me too! Yes, sir! Me too!
I drew the knife, it's just what we do!

Blood stains add to the mirth on my face
You called me friend, they called me disgrace
I sought for my own, and now I'm alone
Didn't know what I want, now it's known

Caesar, smile! It's Brutus and Friends!
We've come for a surprise, a surprise till the end!

Me too! Yes, sir! Me too!
I drew the knife, it's just what we do!

I would take it all back, make it feel better
But I lost that chance when I chose to forget her
Now I'm praying to God to deliver me Father!
Deliver me from ever being a bother!

Caesar, smile! It's Brutus and Friends!
We've come for a surprise, a surprise till the end!

Me too! Yes, sir! Me too!
I drew the knife, it's just what we do!

Make me new
Take the old
Take my chains
And make them gold

Show me love
Take my self
Show me heaven
Take my hell

Caesar, smile! It's Brutus and Friends!
We've come for a surprise, a surprise till the end!

Me too! Yes, sir! Me too!
I drew the knife, it's just what we do!

Caesar, smile for me just one more time!
You're still around. Yes, you're still on my mind!

I know, oh yes! I know!
I drew the knife, so now I must go!
