Polis Student Designer - Julie Stalnaker

In the spring of 2012, I'll graduate with my Associate of Applied Science Degree in Communication Design from CVCC. In addition to my AAS, I also have my Studio Art Career Studies Certificate and my Photography Career Studies Certificate.

For several years I worked as a commercial photographer with a Lynchburg based company, since then I've worked on finishing my degree and beginning my own photography business.

My primary focus is in graphic design and photography, but I believe that all art goes hand in hand. All my life I've relished in the way art evokes emotion. I am continuously looking for outlets to expand my knowledge, artistic techniques, and explore new technology in whatever media I choose to utilize.

My hope is that my work will evoke an emotion that can pierce the heart of my viewers.
