THE GAME

Everybody always says "get your head in the game"
but what I think they don't realize is, He never leaves you the same.
you will remember His name
when He reshapes the game,
got every opponent out there walking on crutches and canes.

Gets too hard to maintain
the mental state of your brain,
when the strength of this Lion actually catches His prey.
You wont be the same,
You'll have no one to blame,
the last thing on your mind will be fortune and fame.

You'll bow down to this King,
it's a sure thing,
that when Jesus calls out to you,
He gives you something to bring.

Some people say "keep the main thing, the main thing"
but I wonder how many realize that the main thing is the King?
Who righteously reigns, His power can't be contained,
and the strength of His might is spoken from the mouths of babes.

It's true, power of life and death is in the tongue,
heals broken bodies, gives feeling to the numb.
makes the dumb to speak,
gives strength to the weak,
and reveals His plans through dreams and visions to those willing to seek.

Not to mention His Word,
Your heart can't help but get stirred,
from every trial and tribulation
our savior went through to serve.

I hope this doesn't get on your nerves,
but I have to spit out these words,
or fire builds up inside these bones,
and I can't stand to get burned.
