POLIS Central Virginia Community College’s Journal of Literary Works and Art 2010-2011 Edition, Volume 9 Polis accepts submissions of poetry, fiction,
nonfiction, and art by CVCC students, staff, and faculty twice a year
for its annual publication. Works are submitted with no name attached
(names, titles, and contact information are provided on a separate cover
sheet), and at least three Polis board members review each submission.
All board members vote on artwork to be included. When works are
submitted for consideration, writers and artists are giving permission
to Polis to publish their works, but they maintain copyright. For
information about submitting written works to Polis or serving on the
